  • Hilger Higher Learning 2024-2025 Application

  • Please complete one application for each child. This application form may take 15-30 minutes to complete. Please allow yourself adequate time to fill it out. We recommend using a computer to complete this application, and not a cell phone. We also recommend having our Grid of Classes in front of you while filling out this form. That will help you piece together your child's schedule more easily. You can save your progress and come back to the form by clicking "Save" at the bottom of each page. If you wish to save your progress mid-way, you will be prompted to create a Jotform account by entering your email and creating a password. You will then receive a link to come back and finish the application at any time. NOTE: You cannot have multiple drafts saved at one time. You can save a draft for one child, but then you will need to submit it before you can start another application.
  • Family Information

  • Parent Contact Information

If either parent is not in a relationship with the child, or are no longer living, please put the primary contact's info into any field that specifically asks for their information. Please use the name you go by, you do not have to use your given first name. In addition, please use the same name for each application you submit. For example, don't put "William" as the father's name on the first application and "Will" on the second.
  • Family Schooling Information

  • Hilger Higher Learning reserves the right to refuse any student for acceptance into our program, at Hilger Higher Learning’s sole discretion. We strive to keep high standards for our students, and we want the environment of our program to remain positive, encouraging, and beneficial for all of the students enrolled. In order to do that, we would like for you to fill out the following questionnaire which will provide us with some important information about your family.

We require that at least one parent/guardian has made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and is in regular attendance at a local Christian church. We are a distinctly Christian tutorial program providing quality educational classes from a biblical perspective for children of Christian families.

  • Course Selection

  • In order to serve all of our families to the fullest and maximize the possibility that all students get to enroll in their desired courses, we give priority course placement to returning students, students taking multiple classes, students with sibling schedules that need to be coordinated, earliest applicants, and eldest applicants. Please understand that we may accept your student into a different section of a course for which you have applied, if necessary, for the reasons mentioned above.

Some of our courses are in person only courses, the courses listed below do not allow Online Real Time (Zoom) students. If you apply for one of the following, please select "In Person" when asked how your student will attend this class.

Please note that you can always join any class online if you are sick or traveling, for up to two consecutive weeks.

Please remember that all application fees are non-refundable unless you are for some reason not accepted into a class, or if it ends up not forming. We will also refund you if you pay for a class that ends up being full, and you are unable to switch to a different one.

  • Scholarship Opportunities & Financial Aid

Hilger Higher Learning seeks to provide quality education to students from families with varying financial means. In order to provide this service, we need families who are willing to help, and Hilger Higher Learning will double all scholarship funds provided by families! This past year, we were able to help 20 different families attend classes at Hilger who would not normally be able to. We received $5,300 in gifts from families like yours, and HHL matches every dollar that is contributed to the scholarship fund. If you are planning to submit an application for an additional child/children, you will not have to answer the following questions. This page will be skipped after the first submission.
  • Financial Aid Application & Part-Time Employment Opportunities

If you are awarded scholarship funds, we will communicate that in your acceptance letter, or someone will contact you concerning your financial aid request. If you receive less financial aid than you request, and you are therefore unable to take a class/classes due to not receiving enough financial aid, then HHL will refund your application fees. If you are planning to submit an application for an additional child/children, you will not have to answer the following questions. This page will be skipped after the first submission.
  • By signing your name below and submitting this Financial Aid Application, you are agreeing to the following:

    - I hereby declare that the information provided by me in this Financial Aid Application is true, correct, and complete to the best of my knowledge.

    - I agree to provide substantiation for any of the information provided by me, if requested to do so by Hilger Higher Learning, Inc. - I understand that Hilger Higher Learning, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational, application, employment and financial assistance policies, nor in any of the programs it administers.
