12th Grade Electives and other Graduation Requirements
You will need to make four more course selections. For the remainder of the choices you will need to fill selections with graduation requirements and/or electives. A review of graduation requirements can be found on the following website: https://andersoncounselingcenter.weebly.com/graduation-requirements.html
Double Blocked Courses
If you are double blocking a course you will need to write that course in twice because it will take up two course selections. Double blocked courses are indicated on the course offering list. An example of a double blocked course is 9th grade Football and 9th grade Volleyball.
Entering Semester Courses
Use 1 course number/course name box to enter your semester courses. Example:
Course number: 6000.R000.X/4022.H000.X Course name: Health Fall/Criminal Law Spring
Intervention Courses/Credit Recovery
If it is determined that you need an intervention course for the EOC/STAAR Exam then Reading will replace an elective. In addition, if you are needing to do credit recovery for failed class you may be placed back in the course you failed or given a delta credit recovery period.
Off Periods
Seniors who are on track and who have met TSI college readiness standards may take up to two off periods, and must be enrolled in at least six classes each semester. Requests for off campus periods will be accommodated based on the following parameters:
• Off periods may be 1st, 5th, 4th, or 8th only.
• The two off periods assigned will not be scheduled on the same day.
• An off campus period in senior year is not guaranteed.
• Student must have transportation. If students do not have transportation, they will be scheduled into a full schedule.
