NEWEC Mini-grant Application

MINI-GRANT APPLICATION
Eligibility: Open to PK-12 public schools, state-approved private schools and state/school district approved charter schools in the NEWESD 101 service area (Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman counties).

Deadline for applications: Proposals are accepted year round, with funding decisions made four times per year. Rolling application deadlines: March 15, May 15, September 15 and December 15 each year.

Grant size: $250 to $500. NEWEC anticipates making approximately four annual awards.

Use of funds: Grants may be used for the acquisition of school supplies, equipment and student enrichment activities.

2. Need: Describe, in 150 words or less, the need/justification for your project.
3. Project: Describe in 150 words or less, the activities, project or services to be undertaken.
4. Benefits: Describe in 150 words less, the anticipated benefits of your project.
Submission requirements:
A full application shall consist of your answers to the four questions above.

Post-award requirement: Ninety days following receipt of your award, NEWEC requests a short write-up (maximum one page) and one or more photos describing the result/impact of your project.
