Merry & Bright Residential Address Release & Waiver

(a)I hereby authorize, without limitation, the Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission to release my residential and/or business address for the purposes of marketing and advertising associated with the Merry & Bright Christmas Decorating Contest (hereinafter “the Event”).

(b) I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect or approve the media, any materials that may be used in connection with the Event, or the use to which it may be applied

(c) I hereby acknowledge that any and all materials published or used in connection with the Event is the sole property of the Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission, and may be posted on any websites or social media channels affiliated with the the organization or reproduced in print electronic materials.

(d) I hereby acknowledge that the specific public release of my residential address to media outlets carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid the same.

(e) In consideration of the Event and specifically, the release of my residential address, I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives and/or assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission, Muhlenberg County, the Muhlenberg County Fiscal Court, its trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all claims relating to the Event including negligence that may be attributable to, the Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission, Muhlenberg County, the Muhlenberg County Fiscal Court, its trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents which results in personal injury, accident, illness (including death), and/or property loss arising from the release of my residential address.

(f) I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission, Muhlenberg County, the Muhlenberg County Fiscal Court, its trustees, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities including attorney’s fees in connection with the Project.

The undersigned hereby requests the right to enter the above contest. The undersigned hereby assumes all responsibility for his/her own property, lights, displays, and agrees to all the guidelines and rules set forth. The Muhlenberg County Tourism Commission, judges, and any additional organizers are not responsible, nor held liable in any way whatsoever for damages or harm brought about to persons and/or property by participating in this contest. Decorating my property or business is considered at my own risk and expense. I agree to follow instructions, use electrical codes, use common sense and have fun.

Merry & Bright Yard Signs

Participants must pick up their official Merry & Bright yard sign.
Pick will be Dec. 8th & 9th at:
- MEGA Building Lobby at 50 Career Way, Central City, Ky (across from the Merle Travis Music Center)
