Contestant terms and conditions:
Who can compete?
- Any person that lives on Planet Earth.
- Must fill out this application.
- Any person of any gender can compete, as long as you are aware that the title you represent is Mr. Wet Oso. The gender you identify with, does not have to reflect that as of the contraction of Mister.
- You must be 21yo+, due to attending various venues that are for people over the age of 21.
- Do I have to be hairy and thicc to compete? NO! You just have to project the essence of the Bear community. That includes but does not limit it to: 1.) Promoting Body Positivity 2.) Giving back to the Community 3.) Elevating the community at large.
How will I be judged?
Stage Presence-GoGo Dancing on Friday 9/11:
- GoGo Dancing during the Friday Night Party.
- This is only for 15 min.
- What to wear? Themed outfit for Friday Night.
Swimsuit & Pop-up Question on Saturday 9/12:
- Pop Up Question during the pool party. You will have enough time to review your question in advance.
- During the swimsuit category, wear what you feel confident and sexy in. Make sure your genitals are covered.
Final Presentation & Speech 9/12:
- You will be asked to prepare a speech for the Bear community. Speech to be no more than 60 seconds. Speech will be during the Family Dinner.
- Speech outfit. You wear whatever makes you feel confident, sexy and comfortable. This outfit will tell the judges more about your personality.
Announcement of Winner, Saturday 9/12:
- Winner will be announced at the Closing Party.
- You can wear anytihng you want. Remember that if you win, most of your pictures will be taken as soon as you're announced as the winner sashed. There will be no time to go change right after you are announced as the winner.
What events during Wet Oso Weekend must I attend?
- Friday Night Themed Party:
- Date: Friday September 11, 2026
- Time: 10:00pm
- Location: Holiday Inn Beach Resort - Sea 4 Ever
- Activity: Presentation of contestants. This is where you will GoGo Dance.
- Pool Party:
- Date: Saturday September 12, 2026
- Time: 4:00pm
- Location: Holiday Inn Beach Resort, SPI, TX - Poolside
- Activity: Swimsuit runway and pop-up question.
- Family Dinner
- Date: Saturday September 12, 2026
- Time: 7:00pm
- Location: Holiday Inn Beach Resort, SPI, TX - Sea 4 Ever
- Saturday Night Closing Party:
- Date: Saturday September 12, 2026
- Time: 9:00pm
- Location: Holiday Inn Beach Resort, SPI, TX - TBD
What happens if you win?
- You will hold the title for an entire year. September 2026-September 2027.
- You will receive a legacy leather stole to utilize as you represent the Wet Oso Weekend in activities and or events all around the world. You do NOT get to keep the stole. You will pass it on to the next person that wins in September 2026.
- Your name will be added to the legacy stole on a metal plaque. This will happen within 2 months of you winning the title.
- You will be loved by your community!
What the title/event organizers expect from the title holder:
- You are not required to attend events or participate in activities.
- We do expect you to make this title recognizable not only in your community but accross other Bear and likeminded communities such as Leather, Rubber, Pup, Critter, Kink & Fetish, etc...
- This is not an official feeder title to compete on other competitions. If you wish to run for another title using the Mr. Wet Oso title, you may do so. Check with the organizers of the title you are looking to compete for and make sure you qualify with the title of Mr. Wet Oso.
- The organizers do expect for you to conduct yourself in an appropriate manner when representing the tile. This means not going against what our commmunity represents, acting in a manner where the community does not feel supported or feels attacked while you are representing the title, and or invloving yourself in unlawful activities.
- We expect for you to support equality amongst our most dissenfranchised communities and creating safe and non-judgemental spaces/environments for our community. The title/event organizers have every right to strip you from your title if you misrepresent it.
- The legacy stole will be in your custody and your responsibility to take care of it until its time to sash the next Mr. Wet Oso.
