Dear Scholarship Applicant,
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the principles of Scholarship, Service,
Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Our courageous 5 Founders had a vision to affect
positive change in their community and to encourage the highest standards of academic excellence in education. With the principle of Scholarship in mind, the Royal Blue Dove Foundation Scholarship program was developed to provide recipients with the opportunity to maximize their college experience through service-learning, volunteerism and internships.

Foundation Scholarship. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated takes pride in continued zest

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for the scholarship all applicants must:
• Be a graduating "Female" senior in high school
• Have an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher
• Be a US Citizen with residency in Lake County, IL
• Commit to attend the annual scholarship fundraising event

 APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

In order to complete your application for review, all applicants must provide the following information:

• Certified copy of High School Transcript 
• College Acceptance Letter from an accredited junior college/university, technical, trade or vocational school for 2026-2027 acedemic year
• Personal Essay (500 words)
• Personal Photo: Professional looking headshot
• Two (2) letters of recommendation from the following people: minister, community leader, teachers, guidance counselor, or from a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

In 500 words or less, describe how you have demonstrated one or more of the founding principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated: Scholarship, Service, Finer Womanhood, and Sisterly Love.
