The undersigned, being all the Members of the Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey (“PDFNJ”), do hereby ratify, confirm and consent in writing, which shall become effective as though adopted at a meeting of the Board duly called and held:
WHEREAS, Vice Chair, Vice President and Trustee Marc D’Angiolillo’s untimely demise has left a void in our hearts and in the leadership at the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, us being all the members of the Board duly recognize the valuable contributions and many years of commitment that Mr. D’Angiolillo, a Partner in the firm of Riker Danzig, LLP, made to PDFNJ since its inception; and
WHEREAS, The Honorable Travis L. Francis, of Counsel for the firm Riker Danzig, LLP, has expressed a sincere interest in supporting the mission of PDFNJ, who possesses vast experience as Judge, past litigator, and volunteer, including Public Advocate for the Middlesex County Public Defender’s Office; Superior Court Judge in the Family, Juvenile and Criminal Divisions; serving on numerous Supreme Court committees, an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School-Newark; guest lecturer at the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University; and as recipient of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s Outstanding Volunteer Service Award;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees duly recognizes and expresses its deepest gratitude to the late Marc D’Angiolillo for his commitment, advice and friendship; and be it further
RESOLVED, that The Honorable Travis L. Francis is appointed to serve as Trustee to the Board of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, which shall become effective upon the date the last Trustee executes this herein Consent; and be it further
RESOLVED, that this Unanimous Consent of the Board may be signed in any number of counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument.
