2026 Awards Night Nomination Form

Eligibility Criteria

The award winner will be honored at the Awards Night, to be held on April 15, 2026, at the Norwich Community Centre.

•A nominee cannot be a member of the selection committee.

•A nominee cannot have received the same award in the past 10 years.

•All nominees must accept the nomination and agree to attend the Awards Night event.

The Norwich Township Chamber of Commerce keeps all documents and information regarding awards night nominees confidential. 

Deadilne for nominations is February 12, 2026.

• Must be located in the Township of Norwich.
• Small business of less than 10 full time employees (or equivalent). Not including the business owners.
• Owner of business is an active member in community activities, business association or professional association.
• Has a positive impact on the community through good business.
• Achievements in some or all of these areas: customer service, growth, innovation, leadership, marketing, products, productivity, new markets, technology, and/or environmental.
• Shows history of long term employees and fosters diversity in the workplace. Has training, development and recognition available to its employees.
• Encourages employees to be active in their community.
• Committed to safety within the workplace.
• Has improved business opportunities within the Township of Norwich.
• Promotes the fact that they operate in the Township of Norwich.

• Must be located in the Township of Norwich.
• Large business of 10 or more full time employees (or equivalent) and over. Not including the business owners.
• Owner of business is an active member in community activities, business association or professional association.
• Has a positive impact on the community through good business.
• Achievements in some or all of these areas: customer service, growth, innovation, leadership, marketing, products, productivity, new markets, technology, and/or environmental.
• Shows history of long term employees and fosters diversity in the workplace.Has training, development and recognition available to its employees.
• Encourages employees to be active in their community.
• Committed to safety within the workplace.
• Has improved business opportunities within the Township of Norwich.
• Promotes the fact that they operate in the Township of Norwich.

• Must be located in the Township of Norwich.
• This award is comprised of the following;
• Excellent farming practices.
• Contributes to community.
• Environmental stewards.
• Currently, this award is present to two farm families each year. One farm family from the north and one from the south of the township (Quaker Street is the dividing line.)

• This award is presented annually to an adult resident (under age 65) that resides in the Township of Norwich.
• Has shown initiative, creativity, and dedication to volunteering in our Township or beyond.
• Has displayed remarkable kindness or assistance to others or groups of others.
• Community minded and truly committed to being involved and making a difference in society.
• Inspires others to get involved and take action to better our community.

• This award is presented annually to a youth resident (age 18 or under) that resides in the Township of Norwich.
• Has shown initiative, creativity, and dedication to volunteering in our Township or beyond.
• Has displayed remarkable kindness or assistance to others or groups of others.
• Community minded and truly committed to being involved and making a difference in society.
• Inspires others to get involved and take action to better our community.

• This award is presented annually to a senior resident (over age 65) that resides in the Township of Norwich.
• Has shown initiative, creativity, and dedication to volunteering in our Township or beyond.
• Has displayed remarkable kindness or assistance to others or groups of others.
• Community minded and truly committed to being involved and making a difference in society.
• Inspires others to get involved and take action to better our community.
