Terms and Conditions Bil Sha Boxing Club Ltd
1. Constitution
Bil Sha Boxing Club Ltd AKA BSBC (“the Gym”), a social and fitness facility situated at Unit 1, 9E York Way N7 9GY (“the Premises”).
2. Membership and Access
The gym chooses whether to accept any membership application.
Membership starts on the agreed date once accepted.
Membership is personal — you cannot share or transfer it.
Entry requires your membership card, QR code, number or full name at reception.
You must be 18+, or under 18 with written parental consent.
Acceptance by the Gym of an application for membership of BSBC shall constitute a binding contractual arrangement between the Gym, the Manager and the Applicant upon the Terms and Conditions of membership.
3. Limitation of Liability
In consideration for BSBC accepting an application for membership
of the Gym, and for the applicant becoming and being a Member of the Gym, the
Member agrees that:
None of the Gym, the Company or their directors, employees or
agents shall be liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal property
belonging to the Member, guest of the Member occurring upon the Gym’s premises.
None of the Gym, the Company or their directors, employees or
agents shall be responsible for any death or injury, occurring upon the Gym’s
premises or as a result of the use of facilities, food, beverages, supplements
and/or equipment provided by the Gym, except to the extent that such death or
personal injury arises from any negligent act or negligent omission of the Gym,
the Company or any agent or employee of the Gym or the Company.
4. Health and Safety
You confirm you are fit and healthy enough to exercise and follow nutrition/supplement plans.
If your health changes you must inform the gym manager.
5. Fees, Payments & Price Changes
Membership prices can increase, with 30 days’ notice.
If payments are 30 days late, the full outstanding balance becomes due.
Payments are processed by Stripe, who can chase unpaid fees.
Failed payments will be re-tried 4 times and if afterward the payment fails your membership will be cancelled.
Joining fees apply for short‑term memberships.
No refunds for memberships paid in advance.
6. Freezing / Suspending Membership
You cannot freeze payments during the contract unless:
You or your spouse are on income support (proof required)
A doctor advises you not to train
Pregnancy or childbirth (within last 3 months)
Another reason accepted at the gym’s discretion
After your contract ends:
You may freeze for at least 1 month, up to 8 weeks max
If you don’t restart in time, your account closes
7. Cancelling Membership
You cannot cancel during the initial contract period, except for:
Long‑term injury or illness (doctor’s letter)
Redundancy (written proof)
Pregnancy
Non‑commitment memberships
After the initial period, you must give 1 full calendar month’s written notice.
Any money owed will be automatically charged.to the Member via their nominated debit or credit card.
No refunds once paid.
8. Behaviour & Discipline
BSBC can suspend or cancel your membership if they feel your behaviour harms the gym.
There is no right of appeal
9.Classes & Personal Training
Personal Training / Workshops:
You must cancel or rearrange at least 24 hours in advance.
Missed sessions without notice are charged in full.
Group Classes:
You must arrive on time and generally stay until the end.
Late arrival = you may be refused entry.
You must tell instructors about any injuries.
Proper gym clothing is required.
Class Bundles:
Discounted class packs expire:
3 classes: 4 weeks
5 classes: 8 weeks
10 classes: 12 weeks
15 classes: 10 weeks
Unused sessions are not refunded.
Refunds only for relocation or serious illness/injury (proof required).
12 hours’ notice needed to cancel a class or you lose that credit.
10. Recording & Social Media
No filming, recording, livestreaming, or posting classes or activities without written permission from senior management.
This includes Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.
You may only record before/after sessions with everyone’s consent.
Breaching this can lead to immediate exclusion and legal responsibility.
11. Facilities & House Rules
Opening hours can change; facilities may close for cleaning, repairs, or events.
No refunds for closures or maintenance.
Only BSBC personal trainers may be used.
No jeans, boots, flip‑flops, or sandals — proper gym wear required.
Lockers cleared overnight; lost items are stored temporarily then donated.
CCTV is in operation.
The gym can use photos/videos of members for marketing.
12. General
Fraudulent or wrongful information given in order to obtain a
discounted membership will result in the cancellation of all membership rights
and any action deemed appropriate by the Gym. Membership fees will not be
refunded.
In the event of any default of the Member, the Gym may disclose
personal particulars contained in the membership agreement to a credit
reference agency or any other party necessary in obtaining settlement of
arrears.
If through circumstances beyond the control of the Gym, BSBC is
unable to provide the full range of services as advertised, the Member shall
remain liable for all fees relating to the subscription and other services
provided.
Membership login details are issued upon payment of the
appropriate joining fee and subscription.
The Gym retains the right to vary, add or eliminate any of the
particular services and facilities provided, including the class timetable and
class instructors.
Members are not to engage the services of any employee or
independent contractor for use outside the Gym without the prior approval of
the Gym’s Managing Director.
13. Data Protection & Privacy
Your data is handled under UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018.
BSBC collects contact details, account info, and app usage data.
Data is used for:
Managing your membership
Contacting you
Promotions (you can opt out)
You have the right to access and correct your data.
Data is stored securely using encrypted systems.
Aggregate (non‑identifiable) data may be shared for analytics.
Your data won’t be shared with third parties if
you opt out, unless required by law.
We may change this privacy policy from time to time. Each time you
use the BSBC Website and App you agree that the privacy policy current at that
time shall apply to all data we hold about you.
You are able to change the details you gave us when registering by
clicking on ‘My Account’ (or similarly named feature). You can change your
name, phone number, email address, password, debit/credit card and other
details.
By using the BSBC Website and App you consent to the use of your
personal data in the manner set out in this privacy policy
