In-Person Food Handler Course

The Cass County Health Department will be offering in-person Food Handler Classes taught individually in the office.  The course will be taught anytime during office hours, meaning Monday - Friday, from 8am - 4:30pm.  This class will need to be scheduled over phone call or email by the Enivironmental Staff after submission of this form.  Attendance will be recorded, and a photo will be taken of each participant for creation of the digital food handler's cards. 

This course can substitute for the State Food Safety Food Handler Course.

Once you complete registration, the Cass County Health Department Environmental Team will reach out over phone or email to schedule a date and time for the food handler's course.

The course will consist of an educational presentation on food handling, as well as an exam issued to the participants at the end of the course.  Upon completion of the course, if a passing grade has been earned on the exam, a digital food handler card will be issued via email to each participant who has passed.  A card will not be provided if a failing grade is earned on the exam.
