About ALLOY ArtSpaces
ALLOY ArtSpaces is an initiative of the Franklinton Arts District designed to strengthen the bond between the local arts community and Franklinton residents. Designs are encouraged to reflect the history, culture, and people of Franklinton. While artists who live and/or work in Franklinton receive greater scoring consideration during the jury selection process, any artist from greater Columbus is welcome to apply.

DETAILS

1. Quick Turnaround, Permanent Impact.

This call for art is an opportunity for artists to find permanent homes for their art withinin the residental corridors in the Gravity Complex. This call requests art that you may have already created or art you want to create within the client's brand standards. Learn more about Gravity, here.

Artists are encouraged to submit more than one art piece for consideration. The largest pieces may be multiple artworks hung in series, please explain your concept in the application below.

This project will be awarded on a rolling basis until the following number of pieces are acquired or created:
- two (2) 16 (long) x 8-foot,
- one (1) 8 x 8-foot, and
- sixty (60) 4 x 4-foot paintings.
Payment for art starts at $15/sq foot.

2. Application Questions.

In the questions that follow, please provide a brief (less than 100 words) written description of your artistic style and indicate whether pieces are existing or to-be-created.

3. Pricing
When determining sale price, please consider the budget for this project starts at $15/sq foot up to $30/sq foot. Selections from this call will balance total project cost with client preference.
