    Cabin Fever 2024
  • The Cabin Fever 2024 Event Amplification Grant is aimed at assisting businesses who wish to provide a high-quality event for the Cabin Fever program, with the opportunity to access funds to amplify their event. The grant will support unique initiatives that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive for participating businesses to create.

    Activities and initiatives that may be considered include:

    • Elevated event styling
    • Touring musical acts
    • Flights or other costs towards chefs or talent from key source markets (eg Singapore)
    • Marquee to increase capacity
    • Very small capacity events with a great concept but have limited capacity to draw revenue from their event

    Please note the full cost of these activities may not necessarily be covered, but subsidised.

    The total grant pool is $8000 and festival organisers aim to assist a minimum of 4x event holders with this funding. Grant requests should not exceed $2000+ GST. The decision is at AHOY Management's discretion and they retain the right to not allocate any or all of the grant funds should should no suitable submissions be presented.

    Just like any Cabin Fever event, you are welcome to propose a collaborative event with another business/es.

    To be considered for Cabin Fever Event Amplification Grant Funding, please complete the grant application form by Friday 19th January.

    Successful grant applicants will be notified by Friday 25th January, 2024.

    Upon completing this form, I/we are confirming that I/we agree to the below conditions for requesting funding for Cabin Fever, 2024.

    • I/we agree to provide a detailed description of what grant funding will be used for in relation to our event and how it will benefit both your business and the Cabin Fever program
    • I/we agree to use the grant funding received from Cabin Fever for the reasons that have been outlined and approved by AHOY Management
    • I/we agree to provide evidence of the use of this funding to AHOY Management at the conclusion of the event
    • I/we agree to request only the reasonable amount of funding required to carry out our project
    • I/we agree to all conditions of inclusion as outlined in the EOI
