  • Creating an AEROSUD Culture of Excellence

  • Grid International invites you to participate in a Culture Survey now being conducted for your organisation.

Your feedback and perceptions of your current workplace represent a vital factor in helping management to identify and build upon what is currently working well in the organisation’s culture, while also hopefully identifying what may not be working as well, so that this can be improved.

It is important, therefore, that your feedback is fully open and honest so that a thorough understanding of the culture may be achieved in this regard. You, as an employee of the organisation will also receive feedback from this Survey, and you will want it to be a ‘true’ reflection of the company culture as seen and experienced by all of its employees.

Please be assured that your feedback and comments will not be shared with anyone.  Your responses will be received and reviewed by Grid International, only. Nobody from your organisation will have access to respondent data. No individual feedback will be shared. Leaders from your company are interested only in your honest, objective feedback and suggestions as to how the organisation’s culture can be even better and healthier. Grid International will collate, analyse and structure all respondent feedback and insights into Summary Reports, highlighting conclusions and recommendations for future, continuing success. This is your opportunity to share your views in this context.

Now, while this survey is anonymous with no individual feedback being shared, certain general demographic characteristics are required for us at Grid International to conduct needed data analysis and to reach informed conclusions.

For this reason we invite you to select the appropriate option in each of the following questions, before commencing the Survey.

  • Firstly we'd like to know a bit about where the role you play in contributing to the company.

For the purposes of the Survey we have grouped certain sections into a single category. Take MANAGEMENT as an example.

If you are part of the LEGAL team or FINANCE teams or work in HUMAN RESOURCES,

then select MANAGEMENT as your category.

  •         Select which section or group you work at within the organisation

  •         Manufacturing is quite large! Select your role or level within Manufacturing.

  •         Select your place of work

  • Thank You !

On the next page you'll get instructions that you need to read carefully to understand how to complete the Survey.

Please press NEXT to get started.

  • Completing the Survey

  • Remember, it is important to be open and honest in your responses, providing as many examples as possible to back up your opinion under each Survey heading. Your answers are completely confidential and will be combined with comments from other members of your organisation to generate summary reports.  Individual responses will not be shared with any member of your organisation except on an anonymous, generalised basis.

The timeframe for you to submit your responses is by close of business on Tuesday 14 November 2023.

If you have difficulty accessing the survey either from your email or within your Browser (Chrome, Safari, etc) then the most likely issue is a security setting on your device.  Please contact your IT department to assist you - preferably with a screen shot of the problem.

The Survey takes between 30-45 minutes to complete. It will open in your default browser and provided you don't close the browser session it will remain accessible until you submit the Survey.

As you move through the Survey, you will need to complete each page in order to proceed to the following page.  You will, however, be able to change any previous responses if you feel you need to, until you are ready to submit your final responses.

Once you've submitted the Survey, however, you will no longer have access to change your responses.

  • Survey Categories

  • Nine categories of organisational culture are presented in the tables that follow.

Each category represents actions that require teamwork and collaboration, and so studying them reveals the norms and culture in place.

    1. Decision Making :
      • How well do people look for the right resources and people, use the right measures, and consider the after-effect when making decisions?
    2. Conflict Management :
      • How do people explore differences to surface underlying causes and reach solutions that every member can support?
    3. Goals and Objectives :
      • How do people go about setting clear goals that everyone can support and measure whether those goals are achieved?
    4. Working with Others :
      • How well do Team Members plan and work together to get the best out of each other and achieve the best results they can?
    5. Feedback :
      • How do people provide or seek feedback, establish clear standards of excellence, and measure achievement?
    6. Productivity :
      • How well are the people resources in Aerosud utilised for optimal results?
    7. Standards of Excellence :
      • How clearly have standards that explain ‘excellence’ been defined and understood and to what extent are they followed?
    8. Commitment :
      • How do leaders use authority to motivate and empower the people and create an environment that produces the best results it can?
  • Under each category, seven statements are listed that represent different culture styles.

Please review, assess and decide which statements most closely represent your organisation's actual culture as you know and experience it, as it exists at this time.

  • How to Allocate Your Points

  • Based on the current, typical behaviours that you observe and experience every day at work, please distribute 100 points across the most relevant of seven statements shown under each category.

Give the highest number of points to ONE statement i.e. that which you see as the MOST TYPICAL or ‘Dominant’ culture style, with the remaining points being spread across at least two or more further, less typical or ‘Back-up’ culture styles.

Base your largest point allocation on what is most characteristic of typical, current, day-to-day operations rather than on reactions to one or a few specific crises, unusual pressures or an exceptional event. Crises or unusual events may be useful clues to backup approaches that occur, but because they are not "typical", they should receive less points.

Please be sure to select at least a minimum of three statements. You may distribute points to any or all of the alternatives you see fit, but ensure that your TOTAL point allocation for each category equals 100.

    • Record your point allocation in the "Your Points" column.
    • Be sure your total points on each page equals 100.
  • EXAMPLE

  • Image-263
  • and this is what those responses mean.

    • Statement 'B' is true for you 50% of the time and is the dominant style or behaviour as you see it.
    • Statement 'G' is the next most frequently observed behaviour.(25% of the time - the backup style) followed by 'A' and 'C'  at the same level.

The total score = 100% and you're able continue to setting out your examples that back up your point allocation.

  • Commenting on your Answers

  • EXAMPLE

  • Note that there's no "correct" or "incorrect" answer - it's your perception of "how things are done" within your organisation.

You will be able to change any of your responses to completed pages until you are ready to submit your final responses.

Once you've submitted the Survey, however, you will no longer have access to change your responses.

If you feel that you have additional comments there will be an opportunity for those to be provided at the end of the Survey.

Please note, closing your Survey at any point in the process before submittting at the end will cause you to lose your responses.

So when you're ready select "NEXT" and get started.
