    - Rabies vaccine could not be given yet as kittens must be 12 weeks old to receive the vaccine.
    - We strongly recommend FVRCP booster vaccines for kittens every 4 weeks until they are 16-20 weeks old.
    - Rabies eligible date.
    - Next FVRCP booster due date.

    We offer free follow-up vaccine appointments (FVRCP and Rabies) to adopters of kittens under 12 weeks old. Please contact help@communitycatproject.org if you would like to schedule this.

  • Adoption Fee
    1. Adopter agrees that ownership of the Cat transfers to Adopter upon execution of this Agreement and payment of the adoption fee, subject to continued compliance with the terms and conditions set forth herein.
    2. Adopter agrees that the Cat shall be kept indoors at all times and shall not be permitted to roam outdoors unsupervised, including but not limited to free-roaming or unsupervised yard access.
    3. Adopter agrees that the Cat shall not be declawed or subjected to any elective surgical procedure intended to alter normal feline behavior, except as medically necessary and recommended by a licensed veterinarian.
    4. Adopter agrees to have the Cat examined by a full-service licensed veterinarian within forty-five (45) days of adoption and to retain documentation of such examination upon request by Cleveland Community Cat Project.
    5. Adopter agrees to provide timely and appropriate veterinary care for illness or injury and to maintain core vaccinations in accordance with generally accepted veterinary standards.
    6. Adopter agrees that all veterinary expenses incurred after adoption, including those related to pre-existing or subsequently discovered conditions, are the sole responsibility of the Adopter, and that Cleveland Community Cat Project shall not reimburse such expenses.
    7. Adopter agrees not to euthanize the Cat except upon the recommendation of a licensed veterinarian for humane reasons and agrees to notify Cleveland Community Cat Project prior to euthanasia whenever reasonably possible.
    8. Adopter agrees not to sell, give away, transfer, abandon, or relinquish ownership or custody of the Cat to any individual, shelter, rescue, or organization without the prior written consent of Cleveland Community Cat Project.
    9. If at any time Adopter is unable or unwilling to retain the Cat, Adopter agrees to return the Cat to Cleveland Community Cat Project and shall not surrender the Cat to any other individual or entity.
    10. Adopter acknowledges that Cleveland Community Cat Project makes no representations or warranties regarding the Cat’s health, temperament, or training, and that the Cat is adopted as is, except as expressly stated in this Agreement.
    11. Adopter acknowledges that the adoption fee is non-refundable and is not contingent upon the Cat’s health, behavior, or future circumstances.
    12. Adopter agrees that Cleveland Community Cat Project shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by the Cat after adoption and agrees to assume all responsibility associated with ownership of the Cat.
    13. Adopter acknowledges that failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement constitutes a material breach. In the event of breach, Cleveland Community Cat Project reserves the right to reclaim custody of the Cat and to pursue any remedies available under applicable law.
    14. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.
