Snead State Community College has a residence hall on the campus. An applicant may reserve either a private room or a semi-private room (two residents). A request for a private room is granted on a space available basis. If a private room is not available, an applicant will be assigned a semi-private room.
Each semi-private room in the residence hall is furnished with two beds, twin extra long mattresses, individual closets, two desks with chairs, and individual chest-of-drawers. The residence hall has two laundry rooms and a lounge area.
Students must furnish bed linens, towels, toiletry items, shower curtain, and cleaning supplies. Internet access is provided in all dorm rooms.
The following items ARE allowed in rooms: alarm clock, crock pot, air fryer, fan, hairdryer, humidifier (UL approved), iron, microwave, personal computers, radio, refrigerator (not over 5 cubic ft), small throw rugs (fire-retardant), television, and wastebasket (non-flammable).

Students who reside in the residence hall must purchase a meal ticket each semester (excluding summer). Meals are served ten times a week, Monday-Thursday, lunch and dinner, Friday lunch, and Sunday lunch.
