  • Conditions to keeping a pet

     

    1. No pets of any description are allowed to be kept by any Owner or resident without the written consent of the Trustees. The attached application form needs to be completed and returned to the managing agent with copies of vaccination cards, sterilization certificate and a photograph.
    2. For the purpose of this consent, only guide/hearing/assistance dogs will be given automatice consent. Should the trustees require proof of disibilty they will be in touch.
    3. For the purpose of consent for an emotional support animal (ESA) or therapy dog the following MUST be submitted with the application form;
      a) A medical certificate from a certified mental health professional, (not a GP or any other unrelated institutes)  and must state that the need for a therapy dog or an ESA is an integral part for the treatment of the mental/emotional disability of the applicant.
    4. All dogs and cats must be neutered or spayed.
    5. All pets need to have an identifying collar with a name, telephone number and unit number.
    6. No aviary, kennel or other like accommodation for pets may be placed where it may be visible from any portion of the Common Property or adjoining Units.
      Residents shall ensure that their pets do not foul the Common Property.
    7. Should any pet foul the Common Property the Owner of the pet and/or the Owner of the Unit must immediately remove all excrement or other mess left by such pet.
    8. No visitors to any Unit are allowed to bring any pets into the complex.
    9. In the event of any pet causing a noise or disturbance the Owners shall advise the applicable resident and/or the Owner of the Unit in writing of such contravention and warn such resident and/or Owner that should any further complaint be received, the consent to keep the pet will be revoked.
    10. Where the Owners have revoked the consent for any resident to keep a pet, such pet shall be removed from the complex within 5 days from the date of the written notice of such revocation.
    11. Should the person responsible for the removal of the pet fail to comply with the notice to remove the pet, the Owners will be entitled to have the pet removed, the costs of which will be for the account of the tenant of the applicable Unit.
    12. Should residents be away for extended periods of time, all pets need to be removed from the premises until the resident returns.
