  • Do you want an air to water heat pump for your house?

Please complete the form so that we can assess what you need. One of our house heating advisors will review your details and be in touch soon.
  • A technical assessment is an essential step when you are seeking to install a heat pump. The assessment takes into account various factors such as insulation which affect heat loss in your home. The information given in the report will help us to ensure that your home is suitable for a heat pump installation, as well as the type and size of heat pump that would be most appropriate for your specific needs.

Without a technical assessment, you run the risk of choosing a heat pump that is either too small or too large for your home, which can result in poor performance, higher energy bills, and potential damage to your system.

Additionally, if you do not have a technical assessment you will not be eligible for an SEAI grant.

You can find more information and a list of SEAI registered technical assessors using this link.> Download the SEAI Information Pack

  • To help you find the best heating solution for your home we need to read the Technical Assessment, however, this is often confused with the BER which does not hold enough information. We have explained the differences below.

A Building Energy Rating (BER) certificate and a Technical Assessment are both important documents in the property industry, but they serve different purposes.

A BER certificate is a document that rates the energy performance of a property on a scale from A to G, with A being the most energy-efficient and G being the least. It takes into account the energy used for heating, ventilation, hot water, and lighting.

On the other hand, a Technical Assessment is a more comprehensive examination of a property's condition and energy performance. It includes an in-depth analysis of a property's heating and ventilation systems, insulation, and air tightness.

    > If after reading this you believe your home has NOT HAD a Technical Assessment or if are still unsure please select 'No' from the options above.

    > If you are confident that you HAVE a Technical Assessment please select 'Yes' to move forward with the process.
