The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Board of Directors Development Committee is in the process of screening candidates for board service. If there is someone in your Service Unit area who you think meets the profile and expectations (*see links below for board job description and expectations) for board service, please complete the nomination form below.

Board of Directors Job Description

Questions Often Asked by Potential Board Members
Persons referred must meet the following criteria:

1) Accept the principles, beliefs and purposes of Girl Scouting.
2) Be registered or willing to register with GSUSA annually.
3) Have sound judgment in weighing facts and issues for decision making.
4) Actively participate in board discussion and procedures. Board Meetings-5 per year, each is 1.5 hours in length.
5) Willing to participate in training and board orientation,board retreat.
6) Participate in fund raising of the council by contributing, according to ability annually. Board member expectation is $1200.00 annually
7) Attend the council annual meeting and council sponsored events to be announced annually.
