PAYMENTS

· Payment of trip deposit constitutes your acceptance of our proposal and these Terms and Conditions [T&C], allowing BTC to move forward with your uniquely tailored plans.

· Your final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. (eCheck or EFT preferred)

· BTC trips include numerous components that are tailored to your specific interests and needs, and as such, in accordance with industry standards, we are not able to provide itemized details of individual trips.

ABOUT INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Travel is full of surprises, and travelers need to be flexible enough to take advantage of whatever comes along.

- Travel in Europe may include navigating uneven pavement, stairs, ancient sites, and extensive standing/walking. Many of our hotels are located in historic areas not accessible by vehicles. In the interest of good communication and to allow us to best accommodate your needs, please share with us any physical/dietary limitations you may have.

- Not all hotels in Europe can be compared to American standards. This may include: room and/or bed size, air conditioning, and WI-FI connections.

- We cannot guarantee loyalty points when booking.

REBOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that sometimes your plans may change. Travelers who rebook (same destination/itinerary) or cancel their trip for any reason, including medical, family or external reasons, are subject to the following:

AIR TRANSPORTATION

- Your airline ticket constitutes a contract between each passenger and the airline, whether purchased through BTC or one of our consolidators/agents. BTC is not liable for, and does not assume responsibility or accept claims with regard to seat assignments, name changes, schedule changes, flight changes and/or cancellations, delays, or related expenses.

- All airline and/or consolidator change/cancellation fees will apply.

PLEASE NOTE

- BTC works hard to maintain the services and prices quoted in our proposals. Although price changes rarely occur, we reserve the right to revise any itinerary elemements including, substituting hotels, drivers and guides or trip features, or re-price any trip due to fuel surcharges, substantial currency exchange fluxuations, or other costs increases beyond our control.

- BTC does not own or operate any entity which provides goods and services for your trip, including lodging, transportation companies, guides, food service providers, and retail establishments, and is therefore not responsible for any negligent or inaction of any third party not under its control.

ARBITRATION CLAUSE

In the unlikely event of a contractual or other dispute we expect to rely on your and our combined goodwill to find a mutual solution. In the event no resolution is reached in this manner, both parties explicitly waive the right to sue, and agree instead to adhere to binding arbitration w/o legal representation. A locally based MD/DC/VA licensed arbitrator will be selected by lot and costs will be split evenly 50/50.

INSURANCE

Should the unexpected occur, BTC strongly advises you to purchase trip insurance (aka travel protection) to cover medical emergencies and minimize financial loss in the event you need to delay, cancel, or interrupt your trip for a covered reason.

Travel insurance premiums are nonrefundable. We will be happy to consult with you to get the best coverage.
