2025 Solo exhibition season is booked. We are still looking for small works submissions. We are accepting proposals for 2026.
SOLO OR COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION

DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR SOLO OR COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION: September 30, 2025, Notifications to be sent out 2nd week of October, 2025.

Solo Exhibition- If you wish to apply for this exhibition Please submit a full proposal below.

Submit 10 images for the exhibition.
SMALL WORKS

DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR SMALL WORKS: AUGUST 31, 2025 - MIDNIGHT.

Submissions will be reviewed 1st week of September, notifications will be sent out 2nd week of September. Submitted works for review will be the work we select from for exhibition.

The Small Works exhibition is for works that are 12" on the long end or smaller, and sell for $500 or less. We accept all 2D mediums. 3D only if it can be wired and hung on a hook. Submit 5 images for review. 2 will be selected.

The resolution should be max 2MB per image, approx 1240 pixels on the long end, jpg,png

Submit an image list with the following information: Title, Medium, Size, and Retail Price

Applications must be of original work, completed in the last two-three years and not previously shown in the HJ's Gallery. Selected exhibitions will be scheduled between January – December 2025.

Only 2D works that are wired or D-ringed. Our hanging system cannot accommodate saw-tooth or small triangle rings. 3D only if it can be wired and hung on a hook.

The gallery takes a 30% commission on sales.

The artist is responsible for the installation, however the art coordinator will be there to help with the install, and be present for the Artist's Reception.

HJ's will print up 200 postcards and 20 11x17 posters, provide some social media marketing and make available the electronic version of the announcement to the artist for their own e-marketing.

Once you are accepted, you will provide additional materials as needed for press releases, and announcements.

Some of these materials are, an artist portrait, as well as, an inventory of all works to be shown.
