  • Courtesy Post Questionnaire

Fill out as much as possible for us to assist you. You must provide quality, good, clear photos of the pet for adoption. Email photos to info@streetpaws.org.
  • What is a Courtesy Post?

A courtesy post is a way for Street Paws to advertise an adoptable pet on their website, adoption sites and in person adoption events. The pet is not directly associated with or the responsibility of Street Paws, Inc, however, needs a new home.
  • Eligibility

The pet must meet certain requirements, such as being spayed or neutered, having a recent heartworm test, and being up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, DA2PP and Bordetella for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for cats). Note, if the animal is not up to date due to financial hardship, then Street Paws may use discretion to support the animal in receiving the necessary medical care. This decision is on a case-by-case basis and can be terminated at any time. Note: If Street Paws has invested financially for your pet's care, you may be required to reimburse the rescue for all expenses if you give the pet away to another person, rescue or animal control.
  • Adoption Process

Street Paws will conduct veterinary checks and interviews for potential adopters. It is the owners responsibility to bring their animal to any meet and greets and adoption events.
  • Fees

A fee will be charged by Street Paws to the adopter to support our work in rehoming your pet. There is no fee to the owner but donations are always welcome.
  • Communication

The owner should be responsive to the Street Paws Adoption Manager/Coordinator and check in with them regularly to keep the listing active.
  • Liability

The rescue assumes no financial, legal, or other responsibility for the animal. You must sign a waiver that can be found at this link: https://form.jotform.com/250096186072154 or you can visit streetpaws.org/forms and click on Courtesy Post Waiver before we can proceed with assisting you and your pet(s).
  • Responsibility

It is the sole responsibility of the owner to continue paying for the pet(s) food, medical care, preventative care, etc. If you are having a challenge in providing food, medical care, preventative care, etc. Street Paws may choose to provide finincial support to the owner. This support will be on a case-by-case basis and can be terminated at any time.
  • Giving Back

The owner agrees to volunteer their time to help Street Paws for the duration of their pets courtesy posting. Please discuss opportunities available with the Adoption Manager.
