• Mandatory CRM Phone Number Registration (for A2P 10DLC)

    This registration process known as the 10DLC phone number registration is to mee the new TCR/TCPA regulations that went into effect mid-2023.

    Without completing this form, we can not register your phone number for you and you will not be able to use the text functionality.

    Please note that this is controlled by a 3rd party organization/government and we have no control over the process, the polices, nor how long it takes to be approved.  

    On average it takes about 1-2 weeks for approval, however that can vary.

    It is best to register with an EIN number rather than a sole propreitor, but either option will work with a caveat!

    • Those who register as a sole propreitor will NOT be able to use more than phone number, nor have subusers (extra CRM seats), nor have the ability to round robin leads in the CRM. It also generally takes longer to get approved this way.
    • Those who register under an EIN will be able to take advantage of multiple phone numbers, multiple users/seats, round robin lead distribution and the process is usually faster.

    When registering with a business name & EIN number note these 3 things:

    • The business entity you register with does NOT have to have anything to do with loans, mortgage, real estate or the like.
    • The information you submit MUST MATCH the document the IRS/government issued you in precise detail including address, precise name, etc.
    • You must register with a professional email address, not a free account like gmail, hotmail, etc.

    When registering as a sole propreitor note the email address format you must use:

    • You must use a gmail or microsoft based email (like @hotmail.com, @outlook.com or @live.com)
    • Your registeration will not be accepted with ANY other email domains whatsoever, which includes business email domains and @yahoo.com, @aol.com, etc.)
    • This information is not shared publicly.  These are just the registration rules set by the TCR organization.

    What we are doing as part of this process:

    • We will be creating a temporary website for the complex registration process.
      • Your current website is not likely compliant and it's far too difficult to ensure it is, so it's best we approach it this way.
    • This temporary website will only be needed for a short period during the registration process.
    • To do this you will need to acquire a domain (aka URL) from Namecheap.com and an email address.  The costs on this vary depending upon what you select and current pricing at the time.
    • For other reasons outside of this registration, it is important to retain the URL but the email address can be cancelled after registration is successful.
      • We'll guide you through the URL and email setup process.
  • You are about to select to register as a business with an EIN number or a Sole Proprietor without one.

     

    You should only register using an EIN number (i.e. Tax ID) if...

    • You are the actual owner of the company
    • You have an email address that is not a public or free address (like gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.), but instead has the same domain as your website.
    • Your website must be active and your email address must have the same domain (example:  your website is www.mycompany.com and your email is dave@mycompany.com)
    • Your website has the TCR/TCPA opt-in compliance information on it. (You will need to provide the precise URL where that is and a screenshot of that).

    ALTERNATIVELY FOR DOVETAIL MKTG CLIENT'S USING OUR MARKETING SERVICES:

    If you have engaged our company for your lead generation / marketing services, you do NOT have to have a website with the TCR/TCPA compliance information as noted above.  We will provide this for you via the websites used for your marketing. 

    If you don't have these things, chose to register as a Sole Propreitor.

  • BEGIN THE EIN REGISTRATION METHOD HERE:

  • It's critically important you understand and follow these guidelines or it will not be possible to register your phone number for A2P 10DLC approved texting!

    General Business Indentity

    • When entering your business info, it must match precisely to what is on your CP-575 (issued by the IRS to deliver your EIN).
      • This means if there is INC or LLC, etc, in the business name, that must be included as part of the business name.
      • It's best to review your CP-575 document to make sure. (Example: An LLC might not actually have that in the name).
      • Be sure to use your most updated 575 (especially if your address changed)

    Using A DBA?

    • Don't use a DBA if it's not officiall registered with your state.
    • The URL (aka domain) you use should match the DBA name not the business name.

    Domains & Emails

    • The domain you acquire for this registration process should match precisely or as close as possible to the Business Name or DBA (if using an official DBA).
      • Example:  My Lending Company should have a website like mylendingcompany.com rather than thebestlending.com.
      • It's ok if it's not precisely the same but it needs to be very close.  Example.  Mylending-company.com or mylendingco.com would be fine because they are very similar.
    • The email address you use must use the exact URL you are using to register.  Example: bob@mylendingcompany.com is good -- bob@thelender.com is NOT ok.
      • Once you've successfully registered, you do not need that email address any longer and can cancel it. 

    FAQ: Can't I use a website I already have?

    Simply put - NO - not unless you've successfully registered with GHL (high level CRM) using that website after 1.1.2026 and less than 3 months ago.

    It's far too complicated of a process to ensure all the updates to a live website are going to meet the guidelines rather than just having us create a compliant website for this process.  The website we're creating for this will not be used for any other purpose.

  • For the BUSINESS INDUSTRY question below be sure to choose REAL ESTATE even if you're doing loans/mortgages.

    If you are using the CRM for something other than real estateor mortgage, make the best selection you can.

  • US Employer Identification Number (US EIN) Section

    EIN is required for customers with a US presence

    Your 9-digit US EIN is also referred to as your Tax ID.
    International customers and customers who do not have a US EIN may skip this step.

    To get the highest possible messaging limits, create your Customer Profile with the details that match those in your US EIN listing, If there are any differences - for example, in the business name or address - registration will fail.

    This should be someone who can be contacted about this customer profile. They’ll only be contacted if there are urgent issues.

    Make sure email address domains match the website domain you provided earlier.

    Example:  mywebsite.com was the URL, so dave@mysebsiteurl.com is the email addres

     

  • BEGIN THE SOLE PROPIETOR (No EIN) REGISTRATION METHOD HERE:

  • Register Sole Proprietorship Campaign Use Case

    You will be submitting this information to carriers so they understand what type of messages you’ll be sending. Declaring your exact campaign use case rather than using a mixed campaign use case will generally result in higher limits from AT&T because you're being more specific about what messages you are sending.
  • The address below should be a real personal address.  A PO Box is ok if that's what's on your driver's license. 

    This should NOT be a work or office address!

  • Here are important rules about selecting the email to use below. 

    • The registration email address has nothing to do with the email you used with the CRM to sign up for and/or send emails from meaning it can be a different email address and quite possibly should be. 
    • Only use an email address you fully own & control not something your company controls that you don't and you could loose access to.
    • ****You MUST best to use either a GMAIL.COM email address or a MICROSOFT-OWNED email address like OUTLOOK.COM or HOTMAIL.COM -- All other free email addresses will be rejected.
      • If you don't have an email like this currently, please just create one before completing this form.
  • The verified number below MUST be a REAL cell phone number like one you have from T-mobile, Verizon or similar service & must be able to receive texts you can reply to

    This cannot be a voip line, an office line or any other virtual phone number.

    You will receive a text from the OTP number and MUST reply within 24 hours of receiving it to verify your registeration.   The text will look like this:

    Please note there is a charge that will occur within your CRM subscription when we initiate the 10DLC approval process.  Since you should have a credit card on file already, this charge will automatically be billed to that.

    We do not control this process and it is changing constantly.  There is always the possibiliy that the registration will fail, requiring an additional attempt and another charge to re-register.
