Limerick Sport Partnership (LSP) are mindful of the challenges in recruiting and retaining volunteers at club level.

We are launching a scheme where Limerick-based clubs can identify youths aged 17 - 24 and individuals from our new migrant communities and/or Ukrainian communities, engaging in your clubs, to complete relevant coach education courses.

The LSP will provide grants up to the value of €300 to your club towards the cost of relevant courses. All successful clubs will be offered a free place on the LSP Coaching Children Course, to supplement sports specific coach education. This Course will be delivered in January 2024.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF GRANT (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

Who can apply?
1. All Limerick-based sports clubs with an underage programme and have access to youths aged 17 - 24 who are interested in becoming coaches/volunteers.
2. All Limerick-based sports clubs where members of the migrant communities and/or Ukrainian communities are engaging in your sports activities.
The Closing Date for Receipt of Applications is: 30/11/2023.
