Qualifications of a YFCPR Staff Member:

- Knows Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord and shows evidence of fruits of Holy Spirit

- Is mature spiritually, mentally & emotionally 

- Has an orderly home life, not dishonoring the Lord

- Participates in local church and is willing to represent YFCPR in their church

- Has a burden for the needs of children and youth

- Has respect of their peers in their community

- Loves children & youth

- Must be in agreement with YFCPR's Statement of Faith, believes that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and have a heart for the lost

- Ability to work with people from different Christian denominations 

- Meets the standards of a biblical leader as laid out in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 & Titus 1:5-9

YFCPR Statement of Faith

1.  We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

3. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is by the grace of God through faith and shed blood of the Lord Jesus and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

YFCPR Declaración de Fe

1. Creemos que hay un Dios, eternamente existente en tres personas; Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo.

2. Creemos que la Biblia es la inspirada, la única infalible y autorizada Palabra de Dios.

3. Creemos en la Deidad de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, en Su nacimiento virginal, en Su vida sin pecado, en Sus milagros, en Su muerte vicaria y expiatoria, en Su resurrección corporal, en Su ascensión a la diestra del Padre, y en Su regreso personal en poder y gloria. 

4. Creemos que la salvación de las personas perdidas y pecadoras es por la gracia de Dios a través de la fe y la sangre derramada del Señor Jesús y que la regeneración por el Espíritu Santo es absolutamente esencial.

5. Creemos en el ministerio actual del Espíritu Santo, por cuya morada el cristiano puede vivir una vida piadosa. 

6. Creemos en la resurrección tanto de los salvos como de los perdidos: los que se salvan para resurrección de vida y los que se pierden para resurrección de condenación.  

7. Creemos en la unidad espiritual de los creyentes en Cristo.
