The State Fire Marshall has Served Franklin County with an order that the staircase to the second floor and the second floor is off limits to the public. The county is subject to severe penalty and possible closure of the Armory for the violation of the order from the State Fire Marshall. I have read the above and understand the above second floor rules.*

I acknowledge that the staircase has been blocked and there is a warning displayed which states the staircase to the second floor and the second floor are off limits. (INITIAL)*

If the Renter, or any guest or any associate, uses the staircase to the second floor or the second floor, the Renter may be asked to immediately vacate the premises, including the termination of the event at the request of the county employee present at the event.(INITIAL)*

The County reserves the right to refuse the future lease of the Armory to any Renter if this addendum is violated. (INITIAL)*

All events must be concluded, the facility closed, secured and trash taken out by 12:00 a.m. on weeknights (Sunday through Thursday) and by 1:00 a.m. on the weekends (Friday through Sunday) (INITIAL)*

I, the renter, agree to pay the balance in full to the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, for the rental of said Fort Coombs Armory located at 66 4th Street, Apalachicola, FL, 30 days prior to the rental commencement date. I understand that an unpaid balance will void my contract and forfeit my reservation.(INITIAL)*

Damage/Cost of Repairs Clause

Renter(s) shall pay a minimum of $250.00 in compensation of materials and labor (other than normal wear and tear) for the repair or damage to the premises or common areas caused by negligence or willful acts of Renter, members of the Renters household, guests, or unknown persons. (INITIAL)*

Decorations Clause

Except as expressly approved in writing by the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners, no Renter shall staple, drive nails, screw, or drill into any walls or in any way deface the building or premise for any purpose whatsoever. Tape may be used to attach party decorations (e.g., balloons, banners, streamers, etc.) but must be removed with no residue left behind when the premises is vacated. (INITIAL)*

Cancelation Clause

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the renter (email preferred) to the Parks and Recreation Department - Email: fcshmwest@gmail.com. Any cancellation request submitted 30 days or less prior to the reservation date shall forfeit the amount paid. (INITIAL)*
