Design Services
1.1 Commission
EmmaTheCreativeUK provides complete custom design services based on the client’s brief, materials and reference images.
No draft sketches or preliminary drawings are included unless stated.
Clients may request up to three (3) revisions per project. Additional revisions are charged at £15 per revision. All designs are original and will not replicate or duplicate work created by other designers. Clients must supply accurate information, photographs and content within the agreed timeframe.
1.2 Payments & Deposits
Projects under £46 require full non-refundable payment upfront. Projects £51 and above require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Print orders must be paid in full before printing begins.
Accepted payments: Bank transfer & PayPal.
Projects cannot be held longer than 2 days without communication.
After 2 days of no response: £40 restart fee.
After 2 days of no response and no communication: project cancelled with no refund.
1.3 Communication
We communicate through the following platforms only:

Telephone consultations are only available for package deals, content day bookings or custom packages.
Please allow 24–72 business hours for a response.
Weekends are not included in business hours.
Clients must check emails regularly for drafts, updates and revision requests.
1.4 Late Payments
If payment is not received by the due date, the following will apply:
A £25 late fee will be added after 48 hours of non-payment. Work will be paused immediately until payment is received in full. Continued delays may result in project timelines being extended accordingly.
Non-Payment If payment remains outstanding after 7 days, the project may be terminated and no further work will be carried out. Any work completed up to that point will remain the property of EmmaTheCreative UK until full payment is received.
No Release of Final Files Final designs, websites, source files, or live links will not be released until full payment (including any late fees) has been received.
1.5 Draft Ownership
All draft designs, sketches, previews and mock-ups remain the exclusive property of EmmaTheCreativeUK.
Drafts cannot be saved, used, shared, posted, reproduced or distributed without written consent.
Ownership transfers only after full payment and final delivery.
1.6 Illustrations
Clients must provide:
A clear, unfiltered headshot
High-quality images suitable for drawing
Illustration types:
Cartoon / doll-style illustrations require a reference picture and follow a distinctive stylised look.
Portrait illustrations aim to replicate the photo with detail and realism; a reference image is required.
Low-quality images will be rejected.
1.7 Turnaround Time
Standard design projects: 7–14 business days
Websites, branding packages and illustration packages: 4–8 weeks
Turnaround begins after all required information is received.
Delays caused by missing details are not EmmaTheCreativeUK’s responsibility.
Unforeseeable delays will be communicated promptly.
1.8 Project Termination
Your project may be terminated if:
Multiple designs are dismissed without reasonable feedback
You request services outside the original agreement and refuse additional payment.
You delay the project through indecision or lack of communication
You disappear beyond the set timeframe
A £40 restart fee applies to delayed projects.
All terminated projects are non-refundable.
1.9 Cancellation by Client or Designer
Clients may cancel if EmmaTheCreativeUK fails to meet long-term agreed specifications. All payments remain non-refundable.
EmmaTheCreativeUK may cancel and retain payment if the client becomes:
Verbally aggressive
Hostile
Unreasonable
Unreachable
1.10 Refund Policy
All deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable.
This is due to the custom and time-intensive nature of our work.
Please communicate your design goals clearly, respectfully, and in detail.
1.11 Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, the client receives the right to use their final design for the agreed purpose.
EmmaTheCreativeUK retains the right to display final work in:
Portfolio
Website
Social media
Marketing materials
Package Deals
Package deals include branding kits, starter/premium packages, social media kits, logo bundles, business card sets, and similar offers.
2.1 Phone Consultations
Phone consultations are only available for package deal clients and must be pre-booked.
2.2 Package Rules
Packages are non-refundable.
Items within a package cannot be swapped or exchanged.
All components must be used within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
Extra items or revision requests outside the package are charged additionally.
Content Days
Content days include filming, photography, editing and creative direction.

Custom Packages
A custom package is built specifically for your needs and may include:
Branding • Web Design • Content • Photography • Videography • Social Media Assets
4.1 Policies
Requires a 50% non-refundable deposit
Phone consultations available
Additional work outside the agreement is billed separately
Final files are released after full payment
Pre - Made Logos
Premade logos are not one-of-a-kind
Designs may be resold
No physical product will be shipped
All sales are final — no refunds or exchanges
