About this event:
The project Strengthening Societal Resilience and Countering Foreign Perpetrated Disinformation in the Western Balkans is inviting representatives of the Government, CSOs, media, academia and other interested members of the public in Albania to the Whole of Society Discussion on the negative effects of disinformation and how to counter them.
The event will focus on defining and mapping the evolving threat of foreign perpetrated disinformation in the country and beyond, discuss the approaches to countering foreign perpetrated disinformation and observe new developments in the EU relevant for the fight against disinformation, consider the challenges for media and answer to the question on how to strenghten societal resilience.
The aim of the event is to contribute to and support Albania in engaging the whole of society in a joint effort to address and counter the malign influence of foreign disinformation.
