As part of our process, we connect with the Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) identified in your Expression of Interest (EOI). SWFW is required to contact the relevant LALC to confirm that artists are known within the community in which they reside. LALCs are used as a community reference point, and this step is in place to protect First Nations artists and help prevent fraudulent representation.

The best file type for most product images is PNG, followed by JPEG. Your product and collection images can be any size up to 5000 x 5000 px, or 25 megapixels. Product and collection images need to have a file size smaller than 20 MB. High resolution photos look more polished and professional to your customers. For square product images, a size of 2048 x 2048 px usually looks best. A clean white background and proper light control are fundamental for professional-looking product photos.

By submitting this form, I confirm that I am an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist or creator and that I am eligible to submit work to The Gallery. I understand that all items are submitted for consignment consideration only and that acceptance is at the discretion of The Gallery.

I acknowledge that accepted items are consigned on a 80/20 basis (creator/gallery), must remain at The Gallery for a minimum period of three (3) months from the date of delivery unless otherwise agreed, and must be delivered in sellable condition.

I understand that The Gallery will provide a sales report within thirty (30) days after the end of each month, and that payment of my consignment earnings will be made before the end of the following month, in line with the sales report.
