Art Competition
for National Homelessness Week 5-11 August, 2024.
Clarence City Council is calling all young artists who are Secondary School or College aged to create an engaging artwork that responds to theme of Homelessness and/or the Shelter Tas Homelessness Week slogan ‘Housing Ends Homelessness’ , with the winning artwork to be announced at this year's Off the Couch event on August 7.
Artworks in the following visual art mediums are welcome, - it could be painting, drawing, printmaking, digital art, illustration, textiles, or mixed media. The artist will be supported to translate their artwork to a format for use on the promotional material for the ‘Off the Couch’ event in 2025. This would include web presence, printed material such as posters and signage around the community, and a banner that will be on dispay at the event.
You just need to be able to submit a few images of your artwork - and a brief response of how it speaks to the slogan "Housing ends Homelessness"
