AUSTI Audition 2026 (in-person & video)

Welcome to the AUSTI. Company Artist 2026 Audition Application Form. This form is for dancers and physical theatre artists who would like to attend an in-person audition or submit a video audition

DATES:

Applications close midnight 05 January.
All applicants will be contacted before 09 January. 
Successful applications from round 1 will be invited to attend our live auditions on Tuesday 13 or Wendesday 14 January.

Before proceeding, we suggest you prepare the following items (there are no specified word limits):

a) An intorduction to who you are.

b) Your goals beyond 2025?

c) Why would you like to be part of AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre?

d) Any additional information you would like to add about yourself and why you would be an asset to the AUSTI. family.

e) a recent head shot and dance shot

f) CV (optional)

A $30 audition fee is payable to process your application. When you click to submit this application, you will be redirected to Humanitix to process the fee.

Applicants under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to view and sign.

VIDEO AUDITION ONLY: If you are submitting a video audition, please prepare and provide vimeo/youtube links and passwords to video's of you performing the following:

g) Ballet class, enchainment/s or short performances that include the following: Port de Bras, Temps Lié, Adage, Pirouettes, Petit Allegro, Grande Allegro

h) Contemporary class, phrase/s or short performances that include the following: Floor Work, Standing/Centre Work, Off-centre, Dynamic sequencing, Shifting Levels

i) OPTIONAL: Class or performance links that display your versatility/strengths as a dancer can also be included.

Please note that if your video submission is successful, a second fee of $25 will be payable to attend an in-person audition.

The AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre 2026 Auditions may be filmed and photographed for documentation and publication. All material shall remain the intellectual property of AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre and published at the discretion of management for documentation, marketing and funding purposes.

All dance classes involve some level of risk to personal injury. While AUSTI. Dance and Physical Theatre takes all care in the conduct of classes, it accepts no liability for injury or loss to persons or property caused during the audition or whilst participants are at or near the dance studios for the audition. Furthermore AUSTI. Dance and Physical Theatre will not incur the cost of any medical, ambulance or dental fees and/or costs incurred for repairs or replacement in the event of accident or injury to a participant or their property.
