Our smartphone kits replace the previous DSLR camera loan service and provide you with a practical and accessible way to produce content within your team.
These kits are intended for teams who only need to create content occasionally. If your team plans to deliver multiple content projects within a year, you will need to ensure you have access to your own equipment.

The smartphone kits include -
- Smartphone tripod and mounting accessories
- 2 x clip-on microphones for clear audio recording
- Portable magnetic light
- Cables and adaptors

Rules for borrowing equipment

Please read and agree to the below rules before submitting your request to borrow equipment.
You must collect/return equipment from Department W on a Tuesday or Thursday, and at the time agreed with the Content and Brand team. If you are late to the agreed appointment times, your reservation will be cancelled and you will not be able to borrow equipment in the future.
You are responsible for ensuring that the equipment you borrow is not damaged or missing. Your team will be charged to replace any missing/damaged equipment.
You must be familiar with using filming equipment such as tripods and microphones, and understand the Content and Brand team does not have capacity to train you in how to use or set up the equipment
Collecting and returning equipment
Please let us know when you would like to borrow the equipment. If the equipment is available, you will be sent an appointment time within the slot you have chosen.
