    Remote Music Ranger Program

  • MusicNT have started a Remote Music Ranger program in six communities across the Northern Territory. We are currently seeking interest from women and men to take on paid, part-time work as part of this program to provide activities and support for their community. This could include:

    • Running a regular music or songwriting program in community
    • Supporting an existing music room to be open on more occasions for communities
    • Helping the community to find a good place to hold regular music activities and safely store instruments and PAs
    • Supporting visiting music programs or musicians
    • Helping local musicians apply for Festivals or Bush Bands and supporting them at these events
    • Getting more support for music programs for women and girls
  • To be considered for the Remote Music Ranger role you MUST;

    • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander 
    • Have a current NT driver’s licence – or be able to get one 
    • Have a Working Safe with Kids card (Ochre) Card – or be able to get one 
    • You must live in a remote community in the NT
