Veggie Rescue is a nonprofit operating out of Santa Ynez, CA since 2010. Our mission is to reduce food waste, and it's environmental impacts in Santa Barbara County, and delivering rescued food directly to nonprofit organizations serving residents facing food insecurity.

We seek board members who represent our community and have the time and talent to assist us in fulfilling our mission and having a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Would you be willing to help raise funds for Veggie Rescue in whatever way you are most comfortable? This could be meetings, phone calls, tabling, organizing events, speaking, etc.?
We aim for 100% board giving. Would you be willing to make a financial contribution (within your comfort range) to Veggie Rescue on an annual basis?
Veggie Rescue has approximately seven board meetings and one half-day retreat each year. Are you willing to commit your time to these meetings and occasional community events if needed?
If the Board does not elect you this year, would you be willing to serve on a committee as a non-board member? If so, which committee would you be interested in - development, finance, or special events.
