  • The Mutty Misfits is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal rescue dedicated to saving dogs in need within our rural communities and local kill shelters. We are funded entirely by adoption fees and our fundraising efforts.

    Our organization is foster based within North and South Carolina, we do not have a facility.

    All dogs in our care receive appropriate vaccinations, are dewormed, on monthly prevention, microchipped and spayed/neutered if age appropriate.

    Puppies are adopted out only after reaching 8 weeks of age. Adopters that are interested in puppies must be prepared to take on the remaining necessary vetting requirements and coordinate with the rescue.

  • This questionnaire helps The Mutty Misfits and potential adopters assess if a dog is a good fit for their home. Completion is required before adoption, and The Mutty Misfits may deny applications based on responses or interviews.
