Council Animal Management
Council cannot collect deceased animals from private property Council removes deceased animals from public places including roads, parks and shopping areas within 24 hours of receiving a report. If the animal is a dog or cat, an Animal Ambulance Officer will check for an identification tag or microchip. All deceased animals recovered on public roads or highways will be released to council rangers.
