Use of personal information
Enigma Strategy controls and/or processes personal information for the following purposes:
- To comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we may use your personal data (and if you do not provide this personal data, we may not be able to provide our services to you):
- to confirm your identity in order to create your account with our recommended brokers, and ensure that you are eligible to use the services provided on the Website,
- to conduct required anti-money laundering checks on you, and associated financial crime and fraud monitoring, in connection with transactions you may conduct through the Website,
- in the case of investors, to confirm that you are eligible to make investments through the Website in accordance with relevant legislation,
- to enable us to comply with our obligations as an FCA regulated financial services business, including transaction recording, updates on your investment and fundraising activity on the Website, other compliance responsibilities, and reporting to regulators and governmental authorities.
To carry out our obligations under our contracts with you or others, we may use your personal data
- to process and administer payments and investments in connection with the services provided on the Website,
- to facilitate the investment transactions,
- to create and maintain a register of Clients and investments
What Information does Enigma Strategy collect about me through the website, software and services?
- When you interact with our Site, Software, and/or Services, we collect information that alone or in combination with other data, could be used to identify you (“Personal Data”). Some of the Information we collect is stored in a manner that cannot be linked back to you (“Non-Personal Data”).
Information you provide us when you create an account
When you sign up for or use our Services, you voluntarily give us certain Personal Data, including:
- Your username, email address, and contact and language preferences. If you log into Enigma Strategy with a social networking credential, such as with your Facebook or Google+ account, we will ask permission to access basic information from that account, such as your name and email address. You can stop sharing that information with us at any time by removing Enigma Strategy access to that account.
- Your payment information, if you are a paying customer. This is required to complete a commercial transaction on the Site. We use this information to enable and fulfil your transaction. If you choose to use Stripe to finalize and pay for your order, you will provide your credit card number directly to Stripe. The privacy policy of Stripe will apply to the information you provide on the Stripe website.
Other Information we collect
We collect this information as you use the Site, Software, and/or Services:
- User Content. This consists of all text, documents, or other content or information uploaded, entered, or otherwise transmitted by you in connection with your use of the Services and/or Software.
Automatically collected Information
Certain data about the devices you use to connect with Enigma Strategy and your use of the Site, Software, and/or Services are automatically logged in our systems, including:
- Location information. This is the geographic area where you use your computer and mobile devices (as indicated by an Internet Protocol [IP] address or similar identifier) when interacting with our Site, Software, and/or Services.

As with most websites and technology services delivered over the internet, our servers automatically collect data when you access or use our Site, Software, and/or Services and record it in log files. - Usage information. This is information about the Enigma Strategy Site, Software, and/or Services you use and how you use them. For example, we will know how many users access a specific page on the Site and which links they clicked on. We use this aggregated information to better understand and optimize the Site.
- Device information. These are data from your computer or mobile device, such as the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system and browser type), as well as unique device identifiers for devices that are using ENIGMA STRATEGY Software.

We have a legitimate interest in ensuring that the Website and our services operate effectively, and to do this we may use personal:
- to provide our services (which may include the detection, prevention of security and technical issues), and to monitor, improve and administer the Website,
- to respond to customer support requests and enquiries, and to ensure customer satisfaction, administering orders and accounts relating to our Clients,
- to maintain information as a reference tool or general resource,
- to manage Clients’ accounts with our recommended brokers.
- to provide you with information about products and services,
- to provide administration and software support for product providers with who you are investing with or for other entities helping them with this process.
Your Personal Data may be profiled in any form of automated processing.
We employ other people and companies to provide services to our Clients and may need to share this information with them to provide information, products or services to individual Clients. In all cases where we share this information with such agents, we explicitly require the agent to acknowledge and adhere to our Privacy Policy.
