The State League Final is a club team tennis opportunity that brings together teams from inter-club leagues throughout the state. All players will be offered an amazing experience with access to the Brisbane International via ground passes for selected days and onsite presentation, level based team tennis along with great prizes and giveaways including PRA tickets, court-side box seats, framed signed BI posters. Event/Cost: Open and Junior Singles/Doubles: $150 per team
Team composition: 2-3 players per team – Gender Neutral
Eligibility & Selection Criteria:
Given the number of entries is restricted, teams will be selected based on the following criteria. Notification of selection will be sent out Thursday 19th Dec.
- reprosenting a Tennis Qld Affiliated Club
- Divisional Winner from any Inter club competitions that use the Tennis Australia League Manager software.
- All players have a Competitive Player Profile and current UTR.
- Teams consisting of players that have played in that Team.
- Fair spread of representation across regions
- Range of UTR in a team
- Amount of participation in inter club leagues.
Grades:
Divisions will be determined by UTR. The team’s average UTR will be used based on the 2 highest ranked players and teams will be graded by their average. Junior teams with a UTR team Ave above 6 may be placed in the open grades.
Open Divisions – Open Age (Adults and Juniors)
Premier – Ave UTR – 7.5 to 10
Premier Reserve - Ave UTR – 6 to 7.5
Junior Divisions – Under 18yrs – Juniors only
Division 1 – Ave UTR – 4.5 to 6.5
Division 2 - Ave UTR – 3 to 4.5
Division 3 - Ave UTR – 1.5 to 3
*Please note, that whilst every effort is made to grade teams to ensure level-based play, this may not always be possible due to the large spread of possible team UTR averages and potential UTR gaps in teams.
