📽️ Be a part of the excitement at the Liberty Festival!

The Media Team provides quality imaging of the Liberty Festival events focusing on sponsor signage, vendor fair, competition highlights, presenter and clinician events, candids, and marketing elements. We maintain a team of skilled Photographers and Videographers to fulfill the image related requests from the International Liberty Horse Association staff. 🐴

Are you passionate about horses, photography/ videography, and capturing amazing moments? The International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA) has an exciting opportunity for you! We're on the lookout for a talented photographers, videographers, social media content creators, and image reviewers to cover events during the upcoming Liberty Festival.

Event Details:

📅 Dates: October 10, 11, 12 and 13, 2024

⏰ Event Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Each Day, & Saturday until 9:30pm

🏟️ Venue: AllTech Arena, Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington KY

What You'll Be Doing:

Our associate event photographers, will have the opportunity to capture the competitors during the ILHA Liberty Championship Classes. You will witness horses of various breeds performing at Liberty, showcasing their incredible abilities. You'll also have a front-row seat to the Invitational Freestyle Show and the Night Time Event on Saturday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Our team is required to assist in photographing every trade show booth, photographing every sponsor sign and capturing high quality images suitable for marketing to use on social media or in print. We also have Image Reviewers that assist with sorting through the images we take and verifying that we have fulfilled all staff requests while eliminating any images that don’t meet our quality standards. Our team also consists of Social Media Content creators that manages social media posts during the event. Lastly, we have Videographers who cover any video related staff requests.

Photographer/ Videographer Responsibilities:

- Capture images/ videos from the shot list provided by ILHA staff

- Professional equipment is required

- MUST have photography experience!

- Strong equine background is ideal but definitely not required.

- Associate photographers/ videographers will only shoot on provided SD cards and return them to the Image Reviewers at specific times during the day.

Intellectual Property Rights:

- All images taken by the Associate Photographer while under contract/hired by the ILHA are the exclusive property of the ILHA.

- The Associate Photographer is entitled to select a maximum of 10 images from the event for personal portfolio use.
- The ILHA will provide the photographer with the RAW files of the selected images for personal portfolio use.

Printed Materials:

- If any image captured by the Associate Photographer is selected for print by the ILHA, appropriate credit will be given to the photographer.

Image Reviewer

- Proficiency in image editing software, including experience with RAW file processing.
- Familiarity with various image and video file formats.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Conduct thorough reviews of images and videos to ensure they meet quality standards in terms of resolution, clarity, and consistency.
- Identify and rectify any issues, such as color correction, exposure, or artifacts, to enhance overall visual appeal where nessecary.
