Puppy Preference
We understand this can be a very exciting time for our potential puppy parents and we only have a few litters a year so please wait with us while we match you with your perfect puppy.

After your application is reviewed, we will be in touch when we have availible puppies or a litter is due soon. For very up-to-date information please follow us on Instagram @diamondintheruffdogs or Facebook @dogsatdiamondintheruff. We post litter announcements and daily videos of pups on there.

Deposits are not accepted until puppies are 1 week old. Your puppy pick order can be reserved with a $500 non-refundable deposit and we choose pups after their temperment test at 7 weeks old. This way we can make sure their energy match is right for you and/or your family!

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Diamond in the Ruff, but it does not guarantee I'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

If this application is approved, you'll be notified when the puppies are born and be required to send a $500 non-refundable deposit after the pups are one week old. Please note our deposit policy: if you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter you make the deposit on. Deposits do go toward the total cost of the puppy.

We offer 1 year genetic health guarantee as our dogs are DNA checked. We also offer a two year hip/elbow guarentee for our large breed dogs. We ask that the dogs eat an approved dog food in order to obtain the health guarentee. All dogs are AKC registered and raised using Puppy Culture methods- including using ENS (early neurological stimulaiton), early potty training, and early training techniques).

From time to time we may decide to keep a puppy out of a litter. We reserve the right to hold puppies. Puppy selection happens after they are 7 weeks old and have had the opportunity to be temperment tested. This is for the benefit of the owners to decide which puppies personality fits their needs the best.

Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks. We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days unless other arrangements are made, and we do charge a care/training fee for that.

We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

If you purchase "Limited Registration" we require spay/neuter at or before 24 months. Proof of the procedure from your vet is required.
