Applicant Info
1.The following criteria must be met by all applicants:
- Applicant must be a YAEP member.
- Credit course work must not occur during school hours
- Applicant must not be on educational leave
- Credit course applications will be accepted for review up to 14 days after the course's start date. Non-credit course applications must be submitted no later than 14 days prior to course start.
-In the case of summer credit courses and when applicants are on leave, applicants must be returning to a position in a Yukon school the following year. Applicants will only be re-imbursed upon return to their employment with the Department of Education.
-Must have selected a course that relates to a teaching field or to a relevant degree.
-Complete 1 application per course.
-For lesser known institutions, please ensure that they are accredited before applying.
Limitations:
-A maximum 75% of the cost of tuition (exclusive of student council, resources, and registrar fees) will be re-imbursed for approved courses/events.
-Cumulative Maximum Credit-Course tuition re-imbursement any member may receive per school year: Undergrad - $3600, Master’s - $5100, PhD/Doctorate - $6600
