• Virtual Audition

    Submit a video of yourself for audition. Deadline for video submissions is 11:59pm on Sunday, August 9, 2026 . Feel free to send it now by uploading below. You'll sing an excerpt from one of our current pieces, "All of Us" from Considering Matthew Shepard by Craig Hella Johnson. Choose the voice part that's most comfortable for you: Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass. Don't worry if a few notes are out of your range — this is just an opportunity for us to hear your voice and get to know your sound. We prefer that you audition using the accompaniment (piano-only) track. However, because you're auditioning to sing as part of a chorus, not for a solo, it's perfectly acceptable to use a vocal guide track linked below if needed. Please record with the microphone close to you so we can clearly hear your voice over the accompaniment — your phone is an excellent device for recording your audition.     We rehearse Mondays, 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm — Late August through mid-May at St. John's United Methodist Church (2140 Allandale Rd, Austin, TX 78756) We also have a few other important dates: 

    Fall Retreat: Saturday, September 19, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm — First Austin

    Spring Retreat: Saturday, March 6, 10:30 am – 3:30 pm — First Austin

    AGMC presents two major concerts each season:

    Winter Show — December 4–6, 2026

    Spring Show — May 21–22, 2027

  • Do you anticipate being able to commit to this rehearsal schedule?
  • Our singers are dues-paying members of the non-profit organization - a 501(c)3. Dues plus performance fees for new singers are $120 for Fall 2026. However, we do believe that money should not be a barrier to singing with AGMC and offer scholarships when requested. We also offer installment plans or pay in full.
