• London Living Rent - Application form

  • London Living Rent offers a unique opportunity for aspiring homeowners. As you embark on your journey towards home ownership, this programme enables you to save towards a deposit each month while residing in a property. Under this initiative, you will be required to save a specified minimum amount monthly as part of your tenancy agreement. This figure is carefully calculated, taking into account the prospective monthly costs of owning a shared ownership property compared to renting through London Living Rent. The goal is to save at least the difference between these two amounts.

For instance, if you opt to buy a 25% share in a one-bedroom property, your combined monthly expenses for rent, mortgage, and service charges might total around £1200. If your London Living Rent is £700 per month, you would then need to save a minimum of £500 monthly. This approach ensures that your monthly outgoings remain consistent, whether you're renting or moving towards ownership.

By diligently saving £500 every month over the course of a 36-month tenancy, you could accumulate £18,000, contributing significantly towards the deposit and associated fees for your new home. During your tenancy, we will periodically review your savings progress and offer guidance to ensure you are on track for a successful purchase.

    Application Process

When completing your application, it's crucial to thoroughly review and provide comprehensive information in all sections.
