DVMA Objectives

To provide a common meeting ground for Mustang Owners and further the enjoyment of ownership: to include workshops, question and answer sessions and technical sessions, to promote a more favorable relationship with the general motoring public, to further the preservation and restoration of all Mustangs, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, TO HAVE FUN.

Membership Requirements

General Requirements: Mustang ownership is not required but enthusiasm is.

Specific Requirements: DVMA members shall have and present to the Executive Board on request:

1. A valid Driver’s License

2. Automobile Insurance

Lack of, expiration of, cancellation of, or infringement of a member’s Driver’s License or Insurance immediately invalidates his/her membership.

All applicants for membership shall:

1. Submit an application with appropriate fees.

2. Satisfy members of the Executive Board that his/her interest is consistent with the purpose of the club—to foster the preservation and restoration of all Mustangs.

3. Present his/her vehicles to designated members of the club for safety inspection, as required.

4. Be approved for membership by the Executive Board.

Vehicle Safety: All cars and drivers participating in club activities shall be in safe operating condition.

Release of Damages: By signing this document, applicant/member agrees to hold the Diablo Valley Mustang Association harmless for, and to protect and defend officers from, any damages that may occur in route to, during or returning from an event in which an applicant/member is involved.
