    The Gaza Monologues are testimonies written by ASHTAR youth in 2010, after the first war on the Gaza Strip. ASHTAR Theatre in Palestine has launched an urgent request to all its friends and theater makers around the world to publicly read or perform The Gaza Monologues for justice, equality, and freedom for the Palestinian people. Use this form to submit your filmed monologue to Lime Arts, to be shared on November 29th, 2023 — The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
  • How to Submit Your Filmed Monologue

    1. Visit www.gazamonologues.com to access The Gaza Monologues, available in Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Swedish, and more. 

    2. Select a monologue and film yourself reading/performing it in the language of your choice. No need to memorize! Visit our Instagram page to check out a previous performance of The Gaza Monologues.

    3. Submit your monologue to us as a web link or video file via this form, and we'll share it on Lime Arts Productions' Instagram. You can also tag us in a post on your own social media.

    Tips & Tricks for Filming Your Monologue

    • Ensure you have ample lighting (natural lighting is always great) and a relatively quiet space for the strongest audio quality. 

    • We accept recordings from classic self-tape style to highly conceptual. The most important thing is that the text of the monologue is clear and able to be understood. Feel free to get as creative as you wish!

    • We highly encourage adding closed captioning to your video. Instagram, Tiktok, iPhone Clips app, Vimeo, and some websites have tools to do this.
