Here's a snapshot of my thoughts/experience with fasting: (Check all that apply)
I regularly fast, primarily for health reasons.
I believe fasting is an important tool for discerning the Lord's will for my life.
I have fasted, but struggled to pray during my fast.
I think of fasting from food and abstaining from something (social media, tv, etc...) as the same thing.
I regularly "give things up" (during Lent for example) for the purpose of prayer, devotion to the Lord.
Generally speaking, I think christians should fast (if they're able).
I am hesitant to fast because of its connection with legalism.
