• Haymaker Farmers' Market Vendor Application

    Thank you for your interest in our 2024-2025 season.

  • Applications for competitive consideration are due by February 29, 2024. Vendors will be notified by March 15, 2024. Late applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

    There is a $29 non-refundable application fee for first-time applicants only.

    Tentative Market Schedule:

    • Saturdays 9am-1pm (April - October), 10am-1pm (November - March)
    • Outdoor (April - October) on Franklin Avenue under the Haymaker Parkway Bridge.
    • Indoor (November - March) at Hobbs Hall - 217 N Mantua St, Kent

  • Category 1: Raw or minimally processed farm products

  • [1] Product requires a Mobile Vendor's License

    [2] Product requires a Nursery Dealer License and a Nursery Inspection Certificate

  • List the Category 1 products you will sell by season.

    We use this information during the Vendor review process to ensure the Market offers a diversity of product offerings throughout the year.

  • Category 2: Cottage foods and non-refrigerated baked goods

    All Category 2 foods must be made from scratch using raw ingredients. Products made from prepared doughs and mixes are not permitted. Practices will be discussed in detail during your site visit.

  • [3] Non-Potentially Hazardous. Products requiring refrigeration, acidified foods, and ready-to-eat foods and beverages are Category 3.

  • Category 3: Regulated food products

  • [1] Product requires a Mobile Vendor's License

    [3] Product requires production in a Certified Commerical Kitchen or Food Processing Establishment

    [4] Product requires an FDA short course certification and ODA license

    [5] Product requires a RFE Prepared Food License

  • Category 4: Farm crafts

    Farm craft products must be primarily produced from materials grown or harvested by the vendor. Soaps and body products must be made by the vendor using local or agricultural products.

  • I acknowledge that I have been provided with a copy of the Haymaker Farmers' Market Vendor Rules and Haymaker Farmers’ Market Producer-Only Guidelines and that I will abide by these rules and guidelines.

    I have been made aware of the in-progress Haymaker Farmers' Market Anti-Harassament & Anti-Discrimination Policy. I understand that I will be provided a copy once it is finalized and will abide by its guidelines.

    I understand that I will be responsible for being aware of and obtaining any and all licenses and inspections as required by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and by the governing Health Department and following all of their requirements.

    I also understand my membership may be terminated without refund of fees for violation of the market rules and that no refund will be given for vendor fees.

    I further agree to allow representatives of Haymaker Farmers' Market with prior notice to visit the premises where the products intend to sell are produced.
