SVAP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization where parents and professionals come together to improve the quality of life for all Autistic individuals and individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Our signature fundraiser, the 5K Run/Walk for Autism, will be on April 27, 2024!
The SVAP 5K Run/Walk race will be held in Harrisonburg, VA, on the campus of Eastern Mennonite University. Thank you to the organizations and local families who have been attending the race since our inaugural event in 2007!
- Your donation assists in funding resources, information, and support for families who struggle with the daily challenges of living with Autism.
- The money raised will help SVAP continue to:
- Offer scholarships to families and professionals for needed resources and services.
- Raise awareness about the impact of Autism in our valley community by disseminating materials about Autism and our organization.
- Offer training and support to parents and professionals and personal development opportunities for those on the Autism spectrum.
- Share resources and training opportunities with other organizations in our valley community, including local businesses, who assist and employ persons on the spectrum.
