The Edmond Women's Club is a volunteer organization composed of community-spirited women who have combined their talants to promote the cultural, civic, education, and community efforts in the City of Edmond. EWC is offering Career Technology Center scholarhsips to qualifying women who demonstrate a clear financial need in pursuing the development of a career, upgrading career potential, or changing direction.
Monies will be administered through the Bursar's/Financial Aid office of the appliant's choice and must be used only for payment of tuition, books, fees and education supplies. Funds may be used any semester.
Members and immediate family members of Edmond Women's Club provisional, active, or preferred active members are not eligible for this scholarship.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Candidates must be:
- United States Citizen
- Have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours
- Female resident of the city of Edmond
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
The application must include each of the following:
- Completed Application
- Personal recommendation(non-family member)
- Professional recommendation
- Approximatly one-page esssay describing why EWC should choose you as a scholarship recipient
- A certified copy of your transcript from your highest level of education
RECOMMENDATION LETTERS, ESSAYS, AND TRANSCRIPTS SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO THIS APPLICATION. DO NOT START THE APPLICATION UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL REQUIRED ELEMENTS AVAILABLE. THERE IS NO SAVE OPTION.
INCOMPLETE OR LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Applications are confidential and become the property of Edmond Women's Club.
Applications must be submitted by midnight on February 1, 2025.
If you are selected to advance to the interview stage, you will be contacted the week of February 19, 2025. Interviews will be conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
