24-7 Ibiza Application Form

24-7 Ibiza is a missional christian community based in Ibiza. It is part of 24-7 Prayer Intrernational, an interdenominational prayer movement established in 1999 in England. based on shared community values of prayer, mission and justice, 24-7 Ibiza seeks to make Jesus known in Ibiza. Each year the community welcomes people from all over the world to spend an extended time with us, learning about and engaging in prayer and mission by being part of our Summer Long Term Team in Ibiza, sharing God’s kindness on the West End strip in San Antonio and with the wider community. 

For over 20 years, we have prayed with thousands, given practical assistance to thousands more and have shared the love of Jesus with countless others in one of the party capitals of the world. Over the last number of years our work has also included focus on the neglected in society, and so our teams may also have opportunities to serve the homeless and vulnerable in the wider community. 

Alongside this you will become part of our community life. You will be living communally, practising hospitality with the local working community, becoming involved in areas of injustice, learning about and studying the Bible together, enjoying the creativity and diversity of the island, and sharing life together through intentional discipleship.

You will be trained in a lifestyle of prayer and mission, with opportunities to grow in leadership and to develop your giftings. With the main focus of the Long Term Team centering around the seasonal working community, we prefer a minimum of 6 weeks. As a Long Term Team member you will:

• Be part of the night time outreach in San Antonio.
• Share your faith and pray with people
• Serve in our daytime centre open to those in the community offering friendship, prayer, a listening ear and the use of the services in the centre.
• Join in our prayer rhythms across the island. 
• Show hospitality to and build friendships with the local working community.
• Spend time in bars, clubs and on beaches, enjoying and engaging with local culture.
• Participate in team Bible studies and reflections.
• Facilitate the practical running of the summer seasonal work.

So if you are wanting to be involved with our community for between 6 weeks and 5 months of prayer, mission, justice, creativity, hospitality and learning, then please fill in the application form and send it back to us.

Dates: A minimum 6 week period between May and September 2026 (Note: If you are not an EU passport holder you may only be able to visit Europe for 90 days)

Cost: Accommodation €200 (approx) per week plus food and general living expenses – (Note: we hope to stick as closely as possible to this cost but other factors may result in an increase. We will confirm the cost with you before you book flights and confirm that you will come.)

The environment we work in and the rhythm of the teams in Ibiza can be emotionally demanding. In the interest of your wellbeing, it is important that we have a full understanding if any of these questions apply to you.

REFERENCES

References should be provided by (1) your church leader/small group leader and (2) someone who knows you well. Please check that they are happy to provide this. Family/relationship references are NOT sufficient.

Please read the following carefully. You will be required to submit a form agreeing to these statements in order to confirm your place on the team. We will send this to you when we accept your application.  

 

I understand that once my application has been accepted, my place will only be secured on the team when my non-refundable deposit of €200 has been received. 

 

I will pay the remaining balance due in full 6 weeks before the team start date.

 

I understand that 24-7 Ibiza has no back up funds and therefore each team and participant has to be fully self-financing; I confirm that I am able to raise the amounts due.

 

I understand that I will receive information via email regarding the 24-7 Ibiza Health and Safety policy and general guidelines prior to arriving in Ibiza, which I will read and adhere to.

 

I confirm that I have not been advised by my GP not to travel and that if, for any reason, I should receive such advice before the team start date, I will not be able to join the team. If relevant, I will bring sufficient supplies of prescribed medication with me, or have checked and know that I will be able to obtain any such medication in Ibiza.

 

I have read the information regarding insurance cover and will arrange insurance with the appropriate level of coverage

 

I declare that I have not been convicted or cautioned for any offences (other than minor motoring offences) or am not at present the subject of criminal charges. (If you cannot sign this statement, please email details in a separate and confidential letter to missionteams@24-7ibiza.com).

 

I understand that I join the 24-7 Prayer team as a volunteer and that no contract of employment exists between myself and 24-7 Prayer.

 

I am in full sympathy with the aims of the team and I undertake to respect the authority of the leaders of my team. I commit myself to the work of the team and to the well being of my fellow team members and hosts at all times. I will act in the best interests of the team and the aims and objectives of the mission.

 

I give permission for 24-7 Ibiza to use any photo or video footage which I am part of in their social media, promotion and publicity (If you would prefer not, please send an email to missionteams@24-7ibiza.com).

 

I understand that 24-7 Ibiza will use my personal data in processing my application form and for further contact and support. My information will not be shared or passed on to third parties. 

 

I understand that 24-7 Ibiza reserves the right to send me home at any time and at my own expense should such disciplinary action be required.
