Position: Fashion Show Event Production Intern
Location: Remote - preferably NYC based
Duration: 3 Months
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Pre-Event Planning:Collaborate with the event production team to brainstorm and develop innovative concepts for fashion show events.
- Research and identify potential venues, vendors, and partners for upcoming shows.
- Assist in creating comprehensive event timelines and production schedules.
- Logistical Support:
- Coordinate logistics for event setup, including stage design, lighting, sound, and other technical requirements.
- Liaise with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Support the coordination of model fittings, rehearsals, and run-throughs.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional content for fashion show events.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute social media campaigns and generate buzz surrounding upcoming shows.
- Monitor and engage with online communities to enhance event visibility.
- On-Site Event Support:
- Provide on-site support during fashion show events, ensuring smooth execution of logistics and addressing any last-minute issues.
- Assist in coordinating backstage activities, including model management and quick problem-solving.
- Interact with guests and VIPs, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Post-Event Evaluation:
- Contribute to the post-event evaluation process by collecting feedback from team members, vendors, and participants.
- Analyze the success of implemented strategies and provide insights for future improvements.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a related degree program (Event Management, Fashion, Marketing, etc.) or recent graduate.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Canva and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Passion for the fashion and entertainment industry.
